Dear Family,

After much thought and deliberation, we’ve decided to end our “In-Network” status with all Aetna Dental Insurance Programs effective 7/1/2022.  We will continue to accept Aetna dental insurance plans, however, we will do so as an “0ut-of-network” provider.

If your child has a scheduled appointment before July 1st, 2022, you will not incur any additional out-of-pocket expenses.  If your child has an appointment scheduled after July 1st, 2022, then you will incur additional out-of-pocket expenses.

We have always maintained the highest standard of care for our patients, and have been unwilling to compromise and cut corners just because of insurance company shortcomings.  We have avoided using cheap materials, overseas laboratories, and outdated technology.  However, in the current environment of managed health care, many insurance companies are adding more and more restrictions on what they will allow for their subscribers.  It has reached a point where it is impossible for us to offer the same high-quality dentistry that other patients can choose.

So rather than lower our standards that we have maintained, we have chosen to move out of network with some dental insurance companies.

To be clear, we are still accepting Aetna dental insurance plans and patients and we will file claims on your behalf.  And we are certainly not dismissing you and your family as a patient!  The change on your end is that you will be responsible for the balance of what the insurance company doesn’t cover.

If you choose to change an upcoming appointment due to this news, we ask that you call us ASAP @ 937-293-6387.
